Demo and Onboard

Your journey starts with a 1:1 demo where we introduce you to the wemlo platform, explain our processing model, and answer any initial questions—including cost, borrower communication, and how we integrate with your workflow. Once completed, you’re ready to submit your first loan. 

First Loan Submission and Workflow Call

After your first loan submission, a processing manager will reach out—typically within 48 hours—to schedule a workflow call. Workflows calls cover how wemlo can help your business and what wemlo processors do in each file.

We also double check that: 

  • The loan originator and borrower are in contact  
  • The lender is selected, and credentials are entered 
  • The loan product is selected 
  • Fees are designated in the system 

wemlo Takes the Reins

Once you have completed the 1003 in its entirety, provided income documents, and credit reports, you’re ready to hit “Submit to Processing.” This is when your file is assigned to your processing pod. From here, wemlo takes over the heavy lifting – promoting compliance and coordination with all parties involved. 

We know that communication is key, and that’s why our team: 

  • Touches files at least every 48 business hours 
  • Sends regular borrower updates  
  • Keeps you informed with consistent, structured updates 
  • Delivers white-glove service from start to finish 

Ongoing Communication & Support

After your loan closes, we’ll schedule a post-close call to gather feedback and ensure your experience exceeds your expectations. Once you’re submitting mortgage applications regularly, we can schedule weekly pipeline meetings to review your loans and make sure everything is progressing smoothly and to your satisfaction.

Cost & Fees

We believe in clear, upfront conversations about cost—no surprises, no hidden fees. 

  • Mortgage loan processing is a settlement service, like any other required settlement services, that the borrower typically pays for.

  • Our competitive fee falls under Section B of the Closing Disclosure and is paid at closing.
